4/20 has come a long way since the early days of daily gatherings at 4:20 PM, to smoke behind a wall outside of a high school. It’s grown into an international holiday, where people everywhere gather to celebrate, consume and defend the right for cannabis legalization. And now there’s yet another important reason to celebrate 4/20 – PotCoin’s New Birthday!
That’s right, we’ve decided to change our anniversary date to 4/20. While that seems like it might be no big deal, there’s actually more to it than that. Our official anniversary was Jan 21st and that turned out to be quite uneventful, despite best efforts. Changing it to 4/20 is significant because it marks the beginning of a new year of adoption, development updates, new supporting platforms, marketing initiatives and more, all launching as of that day.
Over the next few days and weeks, we will be releasing much-awaited news and updates on a variety of topics. We’ve been very excited to share some of the secrets we’ve been (hush, hush) working on these past few months. Now that we’re close, we’re happy with the progress being made, much of which in-line with our 2018 Vision Board.

We are launching a very special series of PotCoin promos with the first wave of participating land-based and online vendors! The reason this is so important is because it kick starts a new wave of adopters that will be supporting PotCoin and incentivizing their customers to use it.
YOU WILL SEE ANNOUNCEMENTS of more and more vendors launching promos for PotCoin in the coming weeks – this is what we have been working so hard for! While some of these establishments have similar promotions, others will have their own unique offers to celebrate 4/20 (and beyond!). You’ll find the list of participating properties below, with more to be added as soon as they’re ready to start.
We’re also working on bringing you a directory of supported vendors where all these, and more, will be listed and available for you to browse through. We’ve had a great response from businesses everywhere looking to add PotCoin for its benefits, its great community, and the support and exposure that accepting it can provide.
